This five hundred forty eight page volume is the only existing treatise on the subject of North Carolina Automobile Insurance Law. It attempts to include all statutory and common law regarding the subject. The laws and liability insurance, comprehensive insurance, medical payments coverage, underinsured motorist coverage, uninsured motorist coverage and medical payments coverage are discussed in detail. Further included in the volume are discussions of stacking and coordinating insurance coverage's; lawsuits pertaining to all of the above subjects; and forms for automobile insurance matters.

The author was born, reared and educated through secondary school in Lexington, Davidson County, North Carolina. He received his BA degree in history from Wake Forest College in 1967 and his Juris Doctors degree in law from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1970. He has been a practitioner of law in Lexington from his admission to the bar, he is married to Sandra Craver Snyder, and they have two daughters and six grandchildren. He is the author of seventeen books (three are multiple editions).
